ΣΥΝΤΟΜΟ ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ ΣΗΜΕΙΩΜΑ 

Η Κερασένια Σ. Παπαλεξίου ολοκλήρωσε τις βασικές (υπότροφος του Ι.Κ.Υ.), μεταπτυχιακές, διδακτορικές σπουδές της στη Φιλοσοφική Σχολή Α.Π.Θ. και τη μεταδιδακτορική της έρευνα στο Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Μακεδονίας. Δίδαξε φιλοσοφία σε προπτυχιακό και μεταπτυχιακό επίπεδο στο Α.Π.Θ., Δ.Π.Θ., ΠΑ.ΜΑΚ.,  Ε.Κ.Π.Α. και ΔΙ.ΠΑ.Ε., ΠΔΜ. Έχει δημοσιεύσει τέσσερις ερευνητικές  μονογραφίες – βιβλία (Μικρά Πλατωνικά, 2009,  Πλάτων, Θεαίτητος, εισαγωγή, μετάφραση, σχόλια, 2015,  Εισαγωγή στην Οντολογία των Προσωκρατικών, 2015, Συμποτικός Λόγος, άτυπες μορφές λόγου στη γνωσιολογία και τη θρησκεία, 2025), άρθρα και μελέτες σε ελληνικά και ξένα επιστημονικά περιοδικά και επετηρίδες. Έλαβε μέρος σε επιστημονικές-επιμορφωτικές δράσεις και σεμινάρια σε ευρωπαϊκά  εκπαιδευτικά και ερευνητικά προγράμματα (Α.Π.Θ., Ε.Κ.Π.Α.,  ΚΕΓ,  Ι.Ε.Π., CIVIS, Jean Monnet, Διεθνούς Αμνηστίας)  στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό, επιμελήθηκε πρακτικά συνεδρίων, συλλογικούς τόμους και επιστημονικές μονογραφίες. Συντόνισε ως επιστημονικά και οργανωτικά υπεύθυνη του ΥΠΑΙΘ και της Εθνικής Επιτροπής UNESCO το έτος “Αριστοτέλης” στην έδρα της UNESCO  στο Παρίσι (2016). Έχει αναπτύξει διεθνείς συνεργασίες σε ευρωπαϊκά προγράμματα (διδασκαλία και επιμόρφωση) με το  Aix-Marseille Université, University of Bucharest, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. 

CURRICULUM VITAE:

Kerasenia Papalexiou holds a BS in Philosophy from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (as a State Scholarship Foundation scholarship holder), and a MA, and a Ph.D. in Ancient Greek Philosophy from the same institution. She subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Western Macedonia. Her teaching experience includes appointments at AUTH, DUTH, UOM, NKUA, IHU, and the UoWM. Her areas of expertise include Ancient Greek Philosophy and Ancient Greek Religion, with particular emphasis on Platonic philosophy, Presocratic thought, epistemology, ontology, philosophical anthropology, and the intersections between philosophy and religion in antiquity. Her teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels encompasses a broad range of courses, including Ancient Greek Philosophy and Religion, Epistemology, Ancient Greek Language, Methodology of Scientific Research and Academic Writing, and Philosophical Anthropology. She is the author of four scholarly monographs: Minor Platonic Studies (2009), Plato, Theaetetus: Introduction, Translation, Commentary (2015), Introduction to Presocratic Ontology (2015), and Sympotic Discourse: Informal Forms of Discourse in Epistemology and Religion (2025). Her research has also been published in Greek and international peer-reviewed journals, collective volumes, and academic yearbooks. She has contributed to the design, implementation, and coordination of academic workshops, training programs, conferences, and research activities in Greece and abroad. In 2016, she served as Scientific and Organizational Coordinator, representing the Hellenic Ministry of Education and the Hellenic National Commission for UNESCO, for the celebration of the “Aristotle Year” at the UNESCO Chair in Paris. Her international academic activity includes teaching, training, and research collaborations developed through European programs with Aix-Marseille Université, the University of Bucharest, and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, contributing to the promotion of interdisciplinary and intercultural academic exchange.
